The Gary Burnstein Community Health Clinic provides high-quality, compassionate medical and dental care, social services, education, outreach to men, women and children in need.

COMPREHENSIVE MEDICAL CARE

All of the following services are provided free to all patients at the GBCHC:

• basic primary care
• patient education
• disease prevention & screening
• physical exams
• women's health, including gynecological care
• men's health
• laboratory testing
• screening to help you qualify for Medicaid, Family Health Plus,
   or similar free public insurance programs

Gynecological care

This care is provided with a collaborative team approach utilizing certified physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants by doing so; we are making sure quality health care is accessible to everyone. Our staff works to ensure quality medical care for the medically underserved through direct care.

Full Pharmacy
Our Pharmacy provides prescription medications and diabetic supplies for GBCHC patients. Prescriptions are filled on Clinic nights. Prescription orders can be picked up at the Clinic, and at specified times.

Our pharmacy service fills prescriptions for patients of the GBCHC based on the medications we have available.

• All medications require a doctor's written prescription.
• No controlled substances are dispensed
   (this includes Xanax, Lortab, and codeine).
• A prescription for medications not available at the GBCHC
   will be written to the patient.

It is the patient's responsibility to get these prescriptions filled.

Podiatry

The Podiatry Service provides comprehensive, convenient and expert podiatric care for adults. Medical and surgical treatment is directed to disorders affecting the foot and ankle including bunions, hammertoes, heel spurs, corn/calluses, ingrown toenails, warts and foot and ankle trauma.

DENTAL CARE

The Dentistry Service provides care to the underserved population. We provide x-rays, general cleaning, tooth extraction, fillings, dental plates and dentures. We teach our patients about oral hygiene and follow up. Our dentists and hygienists have over 50 years experience amongst them, and the patients varying current and evolving needs are first priority.
We also provide comprehensive dental care for children.

EDUCATION AND OUTREACH

• Health education including chronic disease management and weight loss.

We can also fill out your physical exam forms for employment, college, or special programs.

Services we do not currently offer

We are proud to offer the most comprehensive free healthcare available to uninsured Unfortunately, there are a few services we do not currently offer at the clinic. These include:

• Optical Care
• Care during pregnancy (pre-natal visits)
• Care of advanced chronic conditions such as chronic heart disease
• Emergency room visits
